Beautiful hairy calf leather.
Known as Pony Hair leather, also known as Pony Fur, Haircalf, Calf-Hair or Hair-on-leather, is created from cow hide. It is made from the hair side of the hide, whereas most leather is made from the non-hair side. The pelt is shaved so that it resembles the hide of a horse.
Simple classic tan colour. Warm tone. Light brown.
Leather is soft temper. Around 1.6 mm thick | 4 oz

Side is a half of a hide, cut along the backbone.
The size of the hides and sides are measured in tanneries.
